“Fantastic location just off the Royal mile. Easy access to the Waverly Train station or St. Andrews Sq. Tram (directly to the Airport, no changes!) The room is just big enough for 2 adults, but the bathroom is tight. There is an Air conditioner, however, it will only come on when the temperature in the room is 21 celsius, so we had to open our window at night to cool off. Due to being in the middle of the city, expect loud party goers, and the seagulls! It was not a deal breaker. We did not have breakfast or sit down at the bar.”

“Visited as a couple and with friends as a sight seeing vacay.
This hotel has a great location with everything we needed on our doorstep.
The train station although up a hill after exiting the station, as with most areas in Edinburgh was only a short stroll away.
We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, there are so many cafe's around and a Wetherspoons nearby.
The staff were friendly and efficient.
Our room was cleaned daily and tea, coffee etc replenished.
For ladies of a certain age, who will understand this, the windows open and you can let fresh air in. Let me tell you, this is a real bonus. Me and hubby are frequent travellers and so many hotels don't have this any more for safety reasons?
We would definitely return.
