“My family and I recently stayed at the Boulder Ridge Villas. The resort is spectacular with beautiful architecture and landscaping. My kids loved the pools and the arcade. They also enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire. We ate at the Roaring Fork and Geyser Point Grill, both of which were good. The transportation to Magic Kingdom via boat was also very convenient. The Boulder Ridge Villas are not directly connected to the main resort but are much more private and quiet with their own lobby and sitting areas. Our room, however, was somewhat of a disappointment. Our room was the furthest from the main lodge and next to a service entrance, which was noisy at times. The view from the patio was also disappointing compared to the other rooms. I would request a different room closer to the main lodge should we stay there again. The day bed did not stay latched very well and came crashing down one day when my daughter was eating breakfast. The shower also did not get hot, lukewarm at best, and the bathrooms were dirty. There was rust on some of the fixtures and mold and mildew throughout the shower area. The tile work needs to be cleaned or re-grouted. Overall we enjoyed our stay. While the room was not as expected, we stayed there for the location and amenities, not the rooms, so any negatives were outweighed by the positives.”
