“This is a beautiful hotel. Excellent service, good food, and a relaxing spa. I came here for a week-long business trip and was so glad my staff selected this hotel. The rooms are relaxing and very clean. I arrived at 5:00 a.m. and initially didn't get the room I had requested because I think they were just trying to get me into a room so I wouldn't have to wait around all day. When I went back to get it straightened out, Abraham Jimenez, one of the supervisors, was incredibly helpful. He ended up putting me in the Presidential Suite, which was amazing. The views were gorgeous, and the suite was so spacious. Everyone throughout the hotel was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I tried all of the restaurants and room service during my stay, and all the food was delicious. On my last day, I decided to go to the spa. It was on par with some of the best spas I have been to. I got a body wrap, a massage, and a facial, and all were excellent. I spent time in their relaxation lounge and felt so rejuvenated by the time I left. Overall, the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen did not disappoint. I'm so glad I'm opening an office around the corner so that I have an excuse to stay here in the future!”

“I really liked the hotel. I was a little disappointed because I asked for a quiet room on a high floor, months in of my stay, and instead of giving me a quiet room they placed me on the ground floor between the lobby and the bar. It was not really very quiet. I don't know why they chose to do that, it could have been because I was spending points instead of paying cash. But, what's the point of having a point system if you penalize people who use them.
As I said the view is amazing. The hotel is right by the airport, so getting to the airport was super easy. They had a free shuttle. And the room itself was beautiful and comfortable.
In any case, everything about my experience, except for the noise, was pretty good. I really like the views. I really like the structure of the hotel. It was so pretty there. The people were pretty nice too. If they're giving me a quiet room, it would have been a five out of five.
All of that said, I would stay there again, if I were heading to Costa Rica. I would just be very very clear about my expectations before I arrive at the hotel.
