I have stayed at 3 different Dreams resorts and this one fell just short of 5 stars. The pool is awesome as it snakes it’s way down through the middle of the resort. The nightly shows were very good. The biggest disappointment was the food. Very little selection at each restaurant and the Seaside Grill was serving the French menu all week. The beef at all restaurants was so tough you couldn’t chew it. The catch of the week was always grouper. If they could figure out a way to fix it, there it was in every menu and not always very good. The best part of the restaurants was the waitstaff. They were AWESOME! Kudos especially to Willy and Francisco! It also rained hard while we were there and our room and the theater leaked. Would probably go to a different Dreams resort next time.

Before I give my review on the resort I want to say thank you so so so much to Leidy, Ruth and grey at the explorer kids section. They took such great care of my baby! My baby didn’t even want to leave when we would go pick her up! They were so attentive, careful and so so so friendly! They were the best at taking care of my girl and I felt super comfortable and knew she would be safe. Now onto the resort, the rooms are outdated but I didn’t mind because I was never there, only to sleep. When we got there everyone was super friendly and attentive. The services offered were amazing. Variety of food at the Buffet and the restaurants. The pool section was amazing, clean and many bars to go to. I had a great stay!!!

This resort is beautiful and great for families. The pool is fantastic, the staff is the best. The rooms leave a little to be desired, but there were so many activities and things to do it didn't matter. The nightly shows were top notch. Our family had a great time!

Dreams Resort and Spa DR has many restaurants to satisfy your appetite. The entertainment was amazing. Walk with comfortable shoes, lots of walking. The dance crew is very friendly, polite, interactive and without these individuals the experience would be average. A shout out to Franklin, Angel and Starling. Book preferred as the staff is very attentive and accommodating. Overall a good place to stay. I will definitely go back.

Good resort overall. Staff was great. The place is a bit outdated though, and I found that the showers didn’t always seem clean, likely due to the hard water deposit from the water which made the glass and fixtures have a white film on them. Food was good, though it took my stomach a long time to adjust. Gym amenities were solid, so if you want to continue your routine it’s fairly easy. Also a solid place to stock up on water bottles as the fridge there was always fully stocked. Overall a solid stay in a beautiful country. Really enjoyed our time there.

I loved this pace. I enjoyed every minute of it. Resort offered so many amenities, pool is amazing! The grounds are beautiful and the beach is pristine. Food was delicious and the staff was professional, they go above and beyond and so friendly and service was excellent.

Beautiful grounds, pool was amazing, beach was gorgeous. Food was decent. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are a bit dated, beds comfy and rooms were clean but spent most of our time at the pool so not a big deal. This is an all inclusive, however they will up sell wine at dinner, if you purchase wine the wait staff will go out of their way to make sure you have reservations for the next evening.

I loved this place! The room smelled a little weird but it was tolerable. We got so sick our last night too. Food poisoning or something. The swim out wasnt really a swim out. We had to walk to get to our swim out community pool. But it was an enjoyable time. We are good, we had good drinks, we swam in the ocean, there was entertainment, the people were nice, the weather was always amazing. Even the thunderstorm was beautiful! Just loved this place so much. Thanks to all of the staff here.

Employees in Concierge, Oceiana and Preferred Club were magnificent. They made our stay wonderful. Cleanliness throughout the property was amazing. My only complaint is that the food and entertainment need improvement immediately. This was the sour note to an otherwise great vacation. If you can improve the food and entertainment your hotel I would be a returning guest.

Beautiful location, beautiful grounds, nice layout. Good dining options, great staff, very friendly & accommodating. Gorgeous gardens, local wildlife (flamingos!), great pools including swim-up bars. They frequently had activities if you are the kind that doesn't like to relax on vacation. Only drawback was the actual beach, wasn't very inviting for swimming. Never saw anyone out there. Didn't see activities on the actual beach.
