The best place I have ever stayed in my life! I thought it was much better than Thalasso Spa because of the decor and fish right underneath the room. I even saw three manta rays right there at the rooms. I will cherish the memories I had here for the rest of my life.

Food was good, bungalows were good, overall resort was good, but the reception desk employees were somewhat rude and lacked good customer service. They seemed to be neglectful of our checkout for the ferry back to the airport even though we stood in front of the receptionist and told them to double check that our bags would be ready for the 10:30am ferry. Of course they did not double check and at 10:30 we had to go searching for our bags and were not given an apology by the receptionist when the bags were found right by their desk.

A manager who personally inquires about the well-being of every guest at breakfast every day - we had never experienced that either. Fantastic! The staff was very friendly throughout. The shuttle service from the airport was perfect. The location of the resort and the facilities of the overwater and beach bungalows were fabulous. The service and quality of the food left nothing to be desired. Snorkelling equipment is available for hire free of charge. Outside the resort we found the many free-roaming dogs, which did not always look very friendly, a bit scary. A must is a tour of the island in a rental car and a visit to the famous Bloody Mary's Bar. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet during sunrise. Rays swim under the bungalows in the morning.

We had a great time at InterContinental Le Moana. Friendly staff and very good beach bar with tasty poke bowls and a lot of different options. Stand Up Paddles and kayaks available for free. We felt unlucky to have an overwater bungalow few meters to the shore, as other beach view bungalows were better located. In our case, it was the only luxury hotel in our 3 weeks honeymoon in the French Polynesia so we were disappointed when we arrived to our room. Besides that, the experience was very positive.

This place has been on our bucket list for years. We'll we are here and loving every minute. The water has more shades of blue than I can describe. The hotel staff is top notch, we were personally welcomed by the General Manager Ms. Laurence Levy. We sat across from the front desk and relaxed while checking in. Front desk staff Barbara Martin and team were AWESOME. They took care of all our registration. Mean while the bar staff brought us a welcome drink and a fresh flower Lei. Next we went over the hotel safety procedures while the Bell capp carried all of our bags to our room. After the safety briefing we were escorted to our room by front desk staff, along the way she pointed out different flowers and the location for meeting points, ice machines and other safety features. Prior to our arrival I had been in contact with Ms. Barbara and a couple of the concierge staff to setup a special dinner and flowers in our bungalow over the water for my wife's birthday. The options were more than I expected and the staff did an AWESOME job decorating our bungalow for the occasion. Joseph and several of the ladies on the bar staff made sure our drinks were good and refreshed often. We will come back here personally again and we will be telling and sharing our experiences with our friends and family.
