The NH Ciudad de Cuenca hotel is in the quiet San Fernando residential area, opposite a park. It’s about 15 minutes’ walk to the commercial center and the same again to the old part, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ‘Hanging Houses’. The hotel has 74 rooms – they’re all Standard, except for our 6th-floor Junior Suite. What they all have in common is a modern style that feels warm and inviting. Our restaurant and bar are great places to relax, whether you’re sipping a glass of wine or tucking into a plate of Mediterranean food. You might like to head to the gym for a workout. “Hanging houses in Cuenca were great however the hotel was far from the center, the air conditioning did not work and the room was super hot in May, imagine that room in July or August!”
