Muy lindo el hotel, pero a mi amigo le robaron 380 dólares en efectivo el mismo personal de aseo en su habitación. La caja fuerte no servía y probablemente las recamareras aprovecharon la ocasión. La actitud del hotel fue defender a sus empleados. No es posible que tengan personal deshonesto. (Habitación 3507). Espero que resuelvan su situación y lo reembolsen.Se hospedó 3 días, y ayer Domingo 18 de octubre, no le hicieron el aseo y solo dejaron cerezas servidas.

I experienced none of that. However, in the comforts in my expensive suite, one of the staff members decided it was terrific idea to steal my stash of US dollars. Management had me fill out a form (which I did) but didn’t seem concern in drilling down to which person took my money or showing any compassion or even express any action to go above expected actions for a “luxury” hotel. In fact, I was shamed for not using my security box. Yes it should be used more often, what kind of venue hires dishonest (thieves) employees then fault the guest for being too comfortable in their own space??? This place does. Plenty of other luxury apartments to spend money. There’s plenty of good reviews because it’s a place for people that have wealth can get away. Don’t let them get away with your wealth.

Fui durante la pandemia y me sentí muy segura. El check in es prácticamente sin contacto, desinfectan tus maletas a la llegada, protocolos de sana distancia y miden tu temperatura con cámara. Pude usar la alberca sin problema, tienen un límite de personas permitidas para asegurar la sana distancia. Mi habitación tenía una vista espectacular a la ciudad y el servicio fue extraordinario. Recomendadísimo.

Wow.Incredible hotel.The service, staff, waiters, security, and chefs are all absolutely fantastic, courteous, friendly, and super professional.The food is very delicious, especially their breakfast buffet.The pool side restaurant/grill is amazing.I had the steak with tortillas and beans which was excellent!!I highly recommend!

Pésima atención del personal. La única hab cómoda es la Suite Senior. Las otras son pequeñas, sucias y con camas pequeñas e incómodas. El gimnasio que creí valía la pena tiene aparatos descompuestos y no tienen la más mínima cortesía de poner botellas de agua o de que el personal las acerque, pero si están morboseando continuamente los guardias. La gente que pone buenas calificaciones de este lugar debe de estar acostumbrada a los malos servicios. Estuve varios días y siempre hubo algo molesto durante mi estadía.

Limpio y las habitaciones son bonitas. El frigo bar no funciona solo mantiene medio frío y es viejisimo la tv es vieja no es smartv y los canales del cable son pocos. No paguen la extensión para que te surtan el frigo bar solo rellenan una vez al día y no costea el precio por lo que te dan. Lo mismo con los snacks son pésimos para lo que uno paga extra. El gym y la alberca están bien.

Lamentable que por un retraso de 13 minutos en el restaurante para hacer el check out (retraso derivado por las filas que normalmente no se hacen en un buffet, pero con el sistema asistido que tienen por covid si), te amenazan que no te dejan subir a sacar tus cosas, al no activar tu llave de nuevo, si no les pagas 300 pesos mas, por 13 minutos. Pésimo servicio en front desk. Deberían recomendar al registrarte que consideres en tu desayuno esas filas.No vuelvo.

Hace falta más iluminación en los pasillos, no hay bolsas para ropa sucia en los cuartos, las batas de baño necesitan reemplazo se ven muy desgastadas y la comida en realidad no es la de un hotel de esa categoría, ya que deja mucho que desear en cuanto al sabor. El servicio y atención son buenos y la limpieza también, pero por el precio por noche en realidad esperaba un poco más.

Durante años tuve muy buenas experiencias en este hotel, ahora soy Una persona con capacidades diferentes, hice mi reservación tres semanas antes solicitando una habitación para mis necesidades y no está abierto el piso uno en donde tienen esas habitaciones y no me lo pudieron dar una habitación para Discapacitados,al bañarme me caí en el baño y muy amablemente me levantaron, pero el hotel no tiene la capacidad de recibir Discapacitados, nosotros también aportamos a la Economía y Generamos trabajos, es una tristeza tener que pasar por eso y que al final no tengan empatía

Yo vivo en Guadalajara, justo donde está el hotel, y lo he visitado porque amigos se han hospedado en el, y porque me gusta visitar su alberca, no recuerdo el piso en el que está pero está como en el 4°, por lo cual tiene corrientes de aire disfrutables, los domingos tiene un DJ tocando y ambienta el lugar bastante, yo pido una botella de gin y con eso tengo para disfrutar la tarde calurosa con mis amigos (4), pedimos algunas botanas como guacamole, aguachile, etc. que están buenos. Algún día tienes que ir y pasarla rico! me invitas! jajaja!

Stayed in execute room but one of the lamp in rest room is broke and the whole room is dim even though I turn on all lights. There is desk but no plug for me to do my business mail which is weird for a 5 stars hotel in this town. Mini bar is good and always come with multiple choices beers ;) Must try their buffet, more than hundred choices and change manu everyday. Save at least 30 mins for the breakfast buffet!

Tuve la oportunidad de quedarme el fin de 3/5/2020 el hotel, el staff LA LIMPIEZA esta super!!!! Las actividades. Esta super completo. El SPA super masajes. La alberca, el buffett. Beautiful hotel! The staff here were very friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Riu bodes a nice workout facility on the first floor as well as good size swimming pool, lounge area with bar and restaurant outside, and a spa. The lobby has a bar restaurant attached and (when I was there) had a free dance lesson if you wanted to join in.The location is just down the road, a couple blocks, from a large round about that has many restaurants and shops that line each street that connects to it. The round about has a nice park in the middle which gives you a little break for a nice walk.If you happen to be planning a visit to Guadalajara I highly recommend staying with the folks at Hotel Riu Plaza!

I stayed there with my 7 year old .. I have to say it’s a nice modern place .. the staff are welcoming, but.... I strayed into some sort of room by accident within the Hotel and got kicked out .. 😂 they told me that by the room I stayed it dictated the level of class 😂.. so I guess it’s all about the mula, dough, or money 😂 otherwise I would’ve given them 5 stars .. but you get what you pay for .. nice play tho

Habitaciones con excelente vista, muy amplias y agradables. Restaurante con excelente menú en desayunos buffet. No me gusta que el estacionamiento se ha vuelto un negocio y lo cobren independiente, si esta en el mismo terreno debe ser parte de su servicio. Solo ofrecen café el primer día pero los subsecuentes no hay ni agua ni café en la habitación. Ojo... no cuidan los recursos y cambian toallas diariamente. Esto no debe ser.

Ive been trying in vain since our return to the states on Wednesday to get some type of corporate number or even to speak to an actual PERSON about our experience at the hotel, we have gotten nothing but the run around and online forms, with no contact save an automated email response. This is certainly not the level of customer service i would expect from a 4+ star establishment . I am honestly apalled at the way we were treated , first AT the hotel and now this..just insult to injury.I STRONGLY sugest that you might want to reach out to me with some contact info at this point RIU,I have reached the end of my patience.

A bit expensive but a great place to stay for business purposes. Easy connectivity to anywhere in Guadalajara and transport options available like Uber and Didi. It has an in house restaurant and bar.Other clubs and bars are close by too for you to relax at the end of the day.

Muy cómodo. El consomé de pollo del servicio a habitación me encantó.La decoración del hotel es fascinante. Al ver el buffet de desayuno te das cuenta que el precio por habitación no es tanto pues como incluye el desayuno,se compensa increíblemente. Lo que no me gustó fue que el internet no funciona en los últimos pisos. Estuve en el piso 40 y nada de red tristemente.

El 7 de agosto 2019 llegué a Guadalajara a las 10pm en auto desde la CDMX y necesitaba una habitación solamente para dormír y salir al otro día a las 7am a una junta. Nunca encontré un hotel que costara menos de $1,200 -ni siquiera un ONE o alguno de esa categoría. Solo quería dormír y bañarme, nada más. Todos se iban hasta los $1,650 aprox,y como estaba frente al RIU, pues llamé y me dieron tarifa "Rack" de $1,850, y decidí quedarme partiendo de que "mejor pago un poco más en un hotel más de lujo que los otros", que tener sorpresas. Y además aunque parezca broma, los demás hoteles no tienen estacionamiento! Les voy a decir como está la onda con este hotel con todo y fotos. De entrada, aunque el estacionamiento es de lujo,TE LO COBRAN. Cuesta $50 y te lo pueden cargar a tu cuenta. Lo que no sé, es si este pago es diario o aplica para toda tu estancia. Una vez en el estacionamiento, tienes que tomar TRES ELEVADORES para llegar a tu habitación. El primero es para ir del estacionamiento al primer sótano, y tienes que caminar por que no están juntos. Para salir del estacionamiento hay que tomar otro elevador que te lleva afuera del hotel junto al valet parking. Si está lloviendo, ni modo, te mojas. Entras la hotel y ya está la recepción y cruzas hasta los elevadores a los pisos. Es increíble que sea una odisea el tema del coche. Las HABITACIONES son geniales. Me tocó en el piso 7. Personalmente no me gustó que el tono de la habitación fuera morado, pero tienen excelente tamaño y son acogedoras. Hay closet de muy buen tamaño con caja fuerte. Hay escritorio de trabajo y sillón individual. Tiene FRIGOBAR con tres refrescos (Pepsi) y dos chelas (Tecate) de cortesía. La PANTALLA de TV es muy pero muy pequeña; yo esperaba por lo menos 42" pero parece la tv de la cocina de mi casa. El BAÑO es maravilloso. Tiene un tamaño muy grande, hay dos lavabos de excelente tamaño; la tasa del WC está en un cuartito con puerta para aislarlo y tiene muy buen tamaño. La regadera es gigante y super cómoda: tiene regadera de teléfono y regadera redonda grande en el techo tipo lluvia. Lo único que creo que no está bien, es que la puerta del baño hacia la habitación es corrediza de madera, por lo que en caso de haber "ruidos" en el baño, escucharías todo y en pareja no creo que sea muy agradable. El ROOM SERVICE es bueno, pedí una pasta y estaba bien servida y llegaron rápido. El BUFFET en el desayuno es bueno, hay variedad: desde salmón, birria, carnes frías, pasteles, hasta sushi. Cuesta $200 y te lo cargan a la cuenta si quieres desde que te registras. Ojalá y les sirva esta reseña.

Stayed for a short trip and the stay was great. Staff was attentive and gave us great tips to use while touring like, don’t use the phone on the street side bcs motorcycles snatch them, also don’t wear jewelry that stands out and don’t be out late. I loves the tips bcs as tourist we tend to forget little things. I did notice there aren’t a lot of st taco stands near so Uber to an area that does. Restaurant near are good and makeup and hair place near the hotel is super affordable called Jorge’s top salon.

Definitely do not stay here if your traveling with family. Front desk is not accommodating at all, and to top it off they are not very friendly. Seems like they don't need our business and their service reflects that. Restaurant waiting staff is great. Food is mediocre at best. Bell hop service is extremely under staffed, we had to bring down four big luggages along with two kids. Second night there room service took our extra blankets and towels and did not left new ones. Call front desk to send some up and took about a hour before i physically went down there from the 32 floor to direct me to where i can grab some so my kids can lay down on the sofa bed. Extremely disappointed with this hotel and especially the service.

Had a terrible experience I’m or I was a frequent guest to this hotel till last night that the service was terrible, they charged my wife twice for parking and made her lose like 40 min to get the car and the worst and most terrible part is that there a was a big bug on the room and management didn’t do anything. It was such as a disgusting stay at this hotel. I have video and pics.

The worst service!!!I can’t believe it is a 5 star hotel with this service.Normal bedrooom, nothing extraordinary, the bathroom excellent is spacious and very clean. The restaurant is very large for few waiters.The pool clean and nice.They don’t take calls from the rooms. They left me waiting without being able to get on the floor because they were cleaning, instead of leaving a free passageway to pass. Bad attitude of some employees, it seems that they are doing me a favor.In my opinion, you can have the best room and the best facilities, but if you don’t get good service from the employees, you will hardly return to the place.

Es uno de los hoteles más bonitos de la zona metropolitana de Guadalajara, muy cercano/céntrico ya sea al centro histórico, monumentos, plazas o variedad de restaurantes.Es un hotel con imagen moderna, muy amplio y limpio, ideal para realizar como eventos formales y casuales.En el interior se encuentran restaurantes y bares de muy buen ver, en calidad de servicio e ingredientes no escatiman.Un plus que el bar tenga noches temáticas para así ser visitado a diario y no cause costumbre.Las habitaciones limpias, amplias, realizadas por personal capacitado, el mini bar que incluye la habitación súper completo para ser de cortesía y el desayuno que no pruebas todo en una sola visita.El hotel vale las 5 estrellas, el mejor para mi gusto, no por algo siempre está arriba del 90% en ocupación.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of GuadalajaraThe hotel is 41 floors high and can be seen from far away mainly because it is so unique and luxurious.The rooms are huge! I was in 2904 on the 29th floor and the view is amazing. The room has living room with small dining room, mini bar with free drinks, connecting door to the room next to it (locked from both ends of not in use). Then you open the sliding doors to move to the master bedroom with king size bed, office desk, big bathroom area with separate bath and shower, toilet area with biddet, his and hers sinks and it's all beautiful, clean and inviting.Hotel staff is very friendly.Breakfast is just amazing and they serve anything you can think of.They have beautiful swimming pool on the first floor.

Amazing view. The rooms are great. Very comfortable, and very clean. we hardly wanted to leave. Excellent location as well. Easy access to most of the city. The pool was good though it was pretty cold.. was disappointed to see it was not heated given the weather in Guadalajara. All the staff was also very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable beds, huge bathroom can easily accommodate two people getting dressed, friendly staff. Most notable feature is the amazing views of Guadalajara from the upper floors. We were on the 32nd floor and it was breathtaking.

If you travel for business consider another Hotel. The noise level is high and one can hear the blasting music banging on the walls. Honestly: the staff should know better to assign rooms to people that stay at the hotel for business and not leisure.

I spent 3 days at this hotel, during a conference. Everything worked as expected. It has a very nice pool (couldn't try it). Food is good enough and every night you can experience different shows (if you like it). If I'm back I'm surely will be hosted again at this hotel.

Really a nice hotel. My first visit to Mexico so can't rate the hotel with respect to other in the area. But overall with my experience this was really worth it. Lot of food options nearby. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Didn't imagine that many options would be available to eat. You could easily have a brunch 😉

Great hotel with extraordinary views. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Beds very comfortable. Location of the hotel is perfect. You can go for breakfast even if you're not a guest. And you should really have breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and it is AMAZING!

Great hotel in the heart of Guadalajara. felt like I was in a 4 star hotel in NYC when I walked in. Beautiful, clean property, lots of amenities, even has free brews in the mini fridge. Staff is very professional and quick to help.

floor 38. We had complementary drinks but refrigerator did not work. Very small TV. I guess it was a 27 inch TV.We had to call security to reopen the safe. Beautiful view. Everyone was helpful. I had higher expectations.

Restaurants are good, though a little expensive. Rooms are clean and updated. Good views of the city. Location is well-known by Uber and taxi drivers, making it easy to get around without a car.

Very clean and comfortable. The view of the city is excellent and unobstructed. Food and bar is great, staff and other travelers are very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. This is my second visit here and I expect to come back again in the future.

Un lugar excelente para hospedarse cuentan con varios servicios de primera.. las habitaciones muy limpias área de gimnasio y sobre todo el área de alberca muy limpio y con una excelente atención.. solo queda a deber el sabor de la comida

Desde que comenzó la pandemia ya no hay buffet en el restaurante, solo algunos platillos sencillos aunque en su sitio web tienen que hay buffet. La comida fue muy malita, todo (omelet, verduras, tocino, papá$250 pesos) tenía demasiado aceite y el café frío y de varias horas de hecho. La atención del personal fue amable

Llegamos al buffet y la comida estaba muy rica, la atencion también muy bueno. Hay una gran variedad de alimentos, algo que nos gusto fue que no estaban tan grasosas las comidas por lo que no nos llenamos rápido,el precio del buffet es de 350 y no necesitamos hospedarnos para consumir

Los viernes de salsa son lo mejor. Un lugar muy agradable para sacarle brillo a la pista de baile. Cuentan con una orquesta cubana de primera calidad 👌 las bebidas no son nada baratas, pero está bien si no te vas a poner la peda de tu vida
