Reservamos una suite con cama king y obtuvimos un estudio queen. Teniendo en cuenta que mi hijo tiene 16 años y necesita espacio debido a su cirugía, es un gran ajuste.Muchas de las luces de la propiedad no funcionan, lo que se convierte en un problema de seguridad por la noche. Tuve que usar la linterna de mi teléfono celular para navegar por la propiedad y también para averiguar cómo usar la tarjeta para ingresar (sin luz en la puerta ni luces en el estacionamiento), lo cual no es lo más fácil mientras empuja a mi hijo en un silla de ruedas que necesita dos manos para hacerlo. La entrada accesible no se encuentra fácilmente. Fui a dos puertas porque la que estaba cerca del estacionamiento no era accesible y la que estaba cerca del patio sí (inclinación muy empinada en la rampa hacia esa puerta).Si no tiene que considerar la seguridad y las opciones accesibles, es probable que esté bien. Estuve aquí hace muchos años, pero mi hijo en ese momento no estaba en silla de ruedas, por lo que no noté todos estos problemas en ese momento.Los pasillos tienen olor a comida y animales, pero la habitación parece oler bien. “This place rips off veterans. Really, they're ripping off the citizens of the United States by not honoring the government rate for official travel. But also ripping me off, because I'm going to have to eat the difference based on the way travel reimbursements work. Occasion: Work travel - Booked online for 3-8 April at government rate of $199 - Shortened reservation to check out 6 April before my arrival date ( my Th/Fr meetings were cancelled) and was not informed of a rate change, nor did I receive an updated confirmation reflecting a different rate) - Offered proper documentation per their website at check in and was told they didn't need (looking back, this could have been a foreshadowing but it's not uncommon for businesses to not want to see ID so I didn't infer trouble at the time) - Called on the 5th to extend until Friday again (they added back the meetings on Th/Fr) and was not informed of a rate change, nor did I receive an updated confirmation reflecting a different rate -When I received the bill, even though they had listed the correct rate at the top, they charged me $328 for all but the last day (smh on that one). And to make matters worse, when I tried to call the hotel and Marriott to get the adjustment, they denied me! Would I return/recommend? Not if you're military or government on official travel FWIW, the husband is a Hilton Honors member and has never had an issue of this nature or a response of this type from Hilton. I'm already looking into whether I can transfer my status...”
