After staying at a terrible hotel nearby, we decided to move to the JA Ocean View - We booked a Family Suite One Bedroom and were amazed! We booked it for the reason because the price difference to other rooms was not much bigger, so why not :) The room was incredible, two balconies, nice view, two bathrooms - one with double sink! In our room, included was the club access with a different breakfast. The service person in the lounge was a bit lost and couldn't get a single order right on any day, but she was really nice. The hotel is super clean, the service superb, everything was nicely decorated over Christmas and the staff was always professional and helpful. Disliked · The roundabout in front of the hotel - even though the location of the hotel is amazing, the immense traffic right in front is super annoying and loud until early in the morning (4-5am), people "flexing" their super cars. When you have been downtown and you are trying to come back with a taxi, good luck. Traffic from 4-5pm on will delay every arrival time by at least 15 minute. We usually asked to be dropped off somewhere else to walk the rest.

Excellent service and clean. The staff was always helpful when we needed them. They have accommodated our stay and the food was delicious. Definitely worth the stay and recommend to anyone if you are looking for relaxing stay

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay as all staff was friendly and professionals. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and food was very delicious. Only price was little expensive but it worth and we will come back again soon.

Overall pretty good experience. Some small things that bothered us were that the laundry service was not very good. We apparently made a small mistake in not completely filling out a form via adding a signature and the entire laundry service was not completed. Calling a cab was a small nightmare, the rotunda in the area was super busy and always super backed up, the taxi stand was always without any cabs in it either. Some positives being the breakfast and happy hours, discounts on surrounding restaurants. Ocean view was definitely nice, but there were no beach umbrellas associated with the hotel.

I've been standing at the check-in for over 30minutes. The staff is not professional and refused to accommodate any request. When I mentioned that I was tired and feeling hungry, they didn't even offer anything to help and keep me waiting standing. Rude people, messy traffic, better to choose a different brand. Update: increased room score, as my specific room had a nice view, despite having a basic design and old bathroom (without many amenities).

The hotel is in a fantastic location, the room we had gave us access to the Coral Lounge which was lovely. The Coral Lounge staff were lovely and the breakfast and afternoon tea were first class. The laundry service was fantastic as our room type allowed us to have three pieces of laundry done each day. Can’t praise this service enough. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly arranging for any forgotten resources by housekeeping, they even organised a breakfast box on the last day. The food in the main restaurant was tepid on the first night we used it. I reported this concern and there after the temperature of food was much better. On two occasions one chef was kind enough to make pasta for me when it was not on the menu. Would be great if the hotel had sun loungers on the beach and more comfortable sun loungers by the pool but apart from that I cannot fault this hotel. Will definitely return again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The staff at this hotel and the accompanying sports bar were absolutely amazing. They took the time to get to know us, our habits and interests so they could better serve us. Such a great time here in a really busy and trendy part of the city.

Great hotel at JBR. It is in a very convenient location, the staff is incredibly nice, and the best part is the in-room dining and services. We had the best in-room dining experience, delicious and very affordable. The view is so good, as well. They also provide a beach mat, towels and an umbrella so you can enjoy the beach! Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel and ordering room service.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff is nice and ready to help. All services are available and really satisfactory. The scenic views and the beauty of the hotel's design make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I recommend it.Cluster and Dexter gives us a strong support while our stay here.

I had a fantastic 10 nights in September, over my birthday. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay with them was memorable. Pros - Staff are very helpful and friendly. - Location is almost unbeatable, so close to many restaurants, beach and things to do. Good links to motorway to. - Rooms are clean - View is amazing Cons - Rooms are a little dated, but it’s a trade off that’s worth making for the location and price. - Sports bar is smoker friendly so for a non smoker it’s disgusting. Kills the whole option of watching sports at the hotel if you don’t smoke. They should have a designated smoking area within the sports bar so they can accommodate non smokers, which is surely the majority? Seems strange - Breakfast and the service at breakfast is inconsistent. We sometimes got nothing like what we ordered and other times it was spot on.

We love staying in this hotel. Love that all rooms are sea facing. Very good staff, many who have been there for quite a few years. Restaurant and bar on the premises are good.

The team is amazing starting from PR manager, Front desk, F&B, security, life guards, housekeeping, concierge , executions and sports bar. every one is very supportive and friendly, I am sure I will come back. Special thanks for Dexter, He was the first to meet in the hotel.

Offside bar is a brilliant venue. First place I've been in Dubai where the staff are genuinely happy to see and serve you. Good prices and the nachos were fantastic.

Functional but lacking proper maintenance. Windows and doors need properly sealing to keep out the humidity so the air conditioning can work more effectively. Do not bother with this hotel during peak season as check-in times can be in the hours. Limited basement parking. Location is good within walking distance to the walk, restaurants, shops, etc. The sofa bed is a nice addition. Staff seem to be limited and request for water or towels (must use room towels for swimming pool because of COVID19) is either forgotten or very slow service. Toilet was small, inconvenient problem with the shower head and the room can do better with sanitisation. Pillows had a smell. The room smelled mouldy but housekeeping did nicely with spraying air freshener when requested. Good breakfast, you have to book in advance so social distancing at the hall was well in check. Unfortunately, had an incident where people crowded into the small elevator so our family had to quickly come out. I cannot recommend this place except for a short recreational stay.

I would recommend it.. Swimming pool is open until 10 pm not like other hotel in the same location which close 8pm. Still you can access the beach. The restaurant recommended but call before you go possible you can't find what you expect but what they offer is testy and staff is polite and professional.
